Title:	Productivity of Appreciative Suffixes: Augmentative, Diminutive, and Derogatory in Southern Quechua Productividad de los sufijos apreciativos: aumentativos, diminutivos y despectivos en el quechua sureño peruano: Variante Cusco Collao

Description:	The objective of the article is to analyze the presence and productivity of the southern Quechua appreciative suffixes: diminutive, augmentative and derogatory. In principle, we find three augmentative suffixes: -sapa, -karay and -chikan and a name -siki, depending on the suffix that can be derogatory. For diminutives, we have two: -cha and -lla and the combination: augmentative -sapa plus diminutive. In conclusion, in the southern Cusco-Collao variant of Quechua, there is no exclusive suffix for the derogatory, but some augmentatives and diminutives that act as derogatory in the context. Regarding productivity, the prototypical augmentative (–sapa) and diminutive (–cha and -lla) suffixes have high productivity and others are only limited to some cases such as the augmentatives –karay and –chikan. El objetivo del artículo es analizar la presencia y productividad de los sufijos apreciativos del quechua sureño: diminutivos, aumentativos y despectivo. En principio, encontramos tres sufijos aumentativos: –sapa –karay y –chikan y un nombre –siki, en función de sufijo que puede hacer de despectivo. Para los diminutivos, tenemos dos: –cha y –lla y la combinación: aumentativo –sapa más diminutivo. En conclusión, en la variante sur Cusco-Collao del quechua, no existe un sufijo exclusivo para el despectivo, sino algunos aumentativos y diminutivos que hacen de despectivos en el contexto. En cuanto a la productividad, los sufijos prototípicos aumentativos (–sapa) y diminutivos (–cha y -lla) tienen alta productividad y otros solo se limitan a algunos casos como los aumentativos –karay y –chikan.
