| Description: | This year marks the 30th anniversary of continuous publication of Dugesiana. Getting to this age has not been easy. Ithas been a task in which many people have participated, including students and researchers. However, a very crucial rolehas been that of the reviewers and authors. They have been a fundamental part of this project, generating quality papers andmaking the journal a benchmark in entomology.
As it is already a tradition, the July’s issue is dedicated to renowned scientists specialists in Arthropoda who have made important contributions to the knowledge of Mexican fauna. The current issue is dedicated to two Mexican specialists whosecontributions have been recognized nationally and internationally in their respective fields: Dr. Tila María Pérez Ortiz, fromthe Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Dr. Mario Enrique Favila Castillo, from the Instituto de Ecología A.C. Este año, se cumplen 30 años de publicación continua de la revista Dugesiana.a. Llegar a esta edad no ha sido fácil.Ha sido una tarea en la que han participado muchas personas, entre estudiantes e investigadores. Sin embargo, unpapel relevante ha sido el de los revisores y autores que han sido parte fundamental de este proyecto para generartrabajos de calidad y convertir a la revista en un referente en la entomología. Como ya es una tradición, el número de julio se dedica a reconocidos entomólogos (en sentido amplio) que han realizado contribuciones importantes al conocimiento de los artrópodos de México. Este número está dedicado a dos especialistas mexicanos cuyos aportes han sido reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional en sus respectivas disciplinas: la Dra. Tila María Pérez Ortiz, de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y el Dr. Mario Enrique Favila Castillo, del Instituto de Ecología A.C. |
