Description:	In the beginnings of the sixties decade, at a context of Latin-American authoritarian governments and military dictatorships, a series of social movements emerge, which face this conjuncture. Among them, a movement for human rights arose with the collective action of women, specifically mothers, who come from family and private life. They stood at the political confrontation for the life of their sons, for justice and truth, against violence, constituting themselves into iconic referents for the battle in pro of rights and democracy  A inicios del decenio de los setenta en un contexto latinoamericano de gobiernos autoritarios y dictaduras militares, emergen una diversidad de movimientos sociales que hacen frente a esta coyuntura, entre ellos surge el movimiento de derechos humanos con la acción colectiva de mujeres, específicamente madres, quienes desde la vida familiar y privada, pasan a la confrontación política por la vida de sus hijos, por la justicia y la verdad y contra la violencia, constituyéndose en  referentes icónicos por la lucha de los derechos y la democracia.
