Title:	Confined faith: the case of the elderly La fe confinada: el caso de las personas mayores

Emphasis is placed on those eRective beliefs and practices which have been identified and analyced with the lived religion approach. We worked with a heterogeneous sample made up of a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (IJSUD), a Catholic, a Methodist, an Adventist and a Pentecostal, from the middle class. The issues were addressed by means of a semi-structured questionnaire touching: the way of adaptation of these people and their congregations to the context of confinement and physical and social distancing; the practices that they have maintained and that have helped them to face this situation; and finally, his perception of divinity before this event. With the information, a narrative of the particularity of his faith was built. En el presente trabajo se aborda la forma en que han sido afectadas la fe y las prácticas religiosas de las personas mayores ante el confinamiento que se ha vivido a causa del COVID-19. Para ello se ha puesto énfasis en aquellas creencias y prácticas efectivas que las personas viven en su día a día, las cuales han sido identificadas y analicadas con el enfoque de lived religión propuesto por Ammerman (2007). Se trabajó con una muestra heterogénea constituida por un miembro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días (IJSUD), un católico, un metodista, un adventista y un pentecostal, todos de clase media baja. Los temas que se abordaron son:  la forma de adaptación de estas personas mayores y sus congregaciones al contexto de confinamiento y distanciamiento físico y social; las prácticas religiosas que han mantenido y que los han ayudado a enfrentar esta situación y, finalmente, su percepción de la divinidad y su papel ante este evento. Estos tópicos se abordaron por medio de un cuestionario semiestructurado que permitió a los informantes expresarse y construir una narrativa centrada en aquellas cuestiones, preocupaciones y anhelos que tienen en su día a día; esos aspectos de su vida y su historia que definen y dan una particularidad a su fe.
