| Description: | This article is a critical review on the importance of establishing an adequate teaching discourse theory and its relationship with concepts like racism, culture and ideology. Through critical discourse analysis of a newspaper editorial, the processes underlying speech and its context are pointed out. We chose as an example an editorial opinion article published in a Spanish newspaper. Finally, we point out that in Latin America it is relevant to analyze texts produced in the media with similar contents, and we reflect on the importance of setting up an educational proposal for discourse analysis based on Context and Pragmatics Studies and the current discussions about them. El presente artículo constituye una reflexión crítica acerca de la importancia de establecer una adecuada teoría didáctica del discurso y su relación con las nociones de racismo, cultura e ideología. Por medio del análisis crítico del discurso de un editorial, se señalan los procesos que subyacen al discurso y su contexto. Elegimos como ejemplo un editorial publicado en un periódico español. De ahí, establecemos que en Latinoamérica es pertinente el análisis de textos producidos en medios de comunicación con contenidos análogos y reflexionamos sobre la importancia de configurar una propuesta educativa para el análisis del discurso que parta de las teorías del contexto y de la pragmática que se están debatiendo en la actualidad. |
