Description:	Human dignity is not identified or confused with a purely moral precept, but is projected in our order as a legal right circumstantial to the human being, deserving of the broadest legal protection, currently recognized in articles 1o., Last paragraph; 2nd, section A, section II; 3rd., Fraction II, subsection c); and 25 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States. In effect, the Plenary of this Supreme Court has held that human dignity serves as a legal principle that permeates throughout the legal system, but also as a fundamental right that must be respected in any case, whose importance stands out as the basis and condition for the enjoyment of other rights and the integral development of the personality. La dignidad humana no se identifica ni se confunde con un precepto meramente moral, sino que se proyecta en nuestro ordenamiento como un bien jurídico circunstancial al ser humano, merecedor de la más amplia protección jurídica, reconocido actualmente en los artículos 1o., último párrafo; 2o., apartado A, fracción II; 3o., fracción II, inciso c); y 25 de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos. En efecto, el Pleno de esta Suprema Corte ha sostenido que la dignidad humana funge como un principio jurídico que permea en todo el ordenamiento, pero también como un derecho fundamental que debe ser respetado en todo caso, cuya importancia resalta al ser la base y condición para el disfrute de los demás derechos y el desarrollo integral de la personalidad.
