| Description: | In this article we present a theoretical proposal that links the studies (and policies) regarding historic memory to those related to the cultural industries and media systems through which the narratives associated with a politically interested memory flow, denominated here as propaganda. To this end, we address a theoretical debate that links the aforementioned concepts, placing emphasis on the possible contributions of the propaganda studies to the debates on historic memory and the construction/manufacture of social imaginaries. Se presenta una propuesta teórica que vincula los estudios (y las políticas) sobre memoria histórica a los relacionados con las industrias culturales y los sistemas de medios, a través de los cuales fluyen las narrativas asociadas a una memoria políticamente interesada. Para ello, abordamos una reflexión teórica que pone en contacto los conceptos mencionados, haciendo hincapié en las posibles aportaciones de los estudios en propaganda a los debates sobre memoria histórica y a la construcción/manufacturación de imaginarios sociales. |
