Description: | La ley Simpson-Rodino, aprobada por el Congreso de Estados Unidos en 1987, ha sido vista desde México como un intento de reducir el número de migrantes ilegales (sobre todo mexicanos) que ingresan a ese país para trabajar; ello porque con dicha ley se propuso legalizar a los migrantes que demostraran haber vivido y trabajado en ese país un cierto número de años, así como sancionar a los patrones que emplearan a sabiendas trabajadores ilegales. |
