Title: Chromosome 9qh inversions may not be true inversions
Letter to the editor
Publisher: Human Genetics
Description: Although recent studies have improved our knowledge of chromosome 9 variants, there are still gaps and controversial issues. In particular, the classifications of 9qh polymorphic inversions proposed in two similar and almost simultaneous papers by Verma and co-workers (Ramesh and Verma 1996; Samonte et al. 1996) are confusing and contradictory.
