dc.descriptionCultural adaptation is a translation technique which is made from the source language into the target language,  conveying the message naturally to make understandable the context of culture. The general objective of this research is to demonstrate the importance of the use of the cultural-linguistic adaptations in the dubbing from English to Mexican Spanish of the American film Yes, man directed by Peyton Reed. In the analysis we got several examples of the adaptations from the source language into the target language. We also identified different translation techniques as expansion, reduction, equivalence and adaptation used in the dubbing from English to Spanish.en-US
dc.descriptionLa adaptación cultural es una técnica de traducción que se hace de una lengua origen a una lengua meta, transmitiendo el mensaje de manera natural para hacer entendible el contexto de la cultura. El objetivo general de la presente investigación es demostrar la importancia del uso de las adaptaciones lingüístico-culturales en el doblaje del inglés estadounidense al español mexicano de la película Sí, señor del director Peyton Reed. Dentro del análisis obtuvimos ejemplos variados de las adaptaciones de la lengua origen a la lengua meta; además identificamos diferentes técnicas de traducción tales como expansión, reducción, equivalencia y adaptación empleadas en el doblaje del inglés al español.es-ES
