dc.descriptionThe objective of this research is to identify the Knowledge Resources of the General Theory of Verbal Humor that are involved in humor’s location by the analysis of three parts from the novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (originally written in English) and its translation into Spanish. The theory mentioned above has six parameters: Language, narrative strategy, target, situation, logical mechanism and script opposition. These parameters will allow to locate humor in the three texts.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de esta investigación es identificar las fuentes de conocimiento de la Teoría General del Humor Verbal que se involucran en la localización del humor mediante el análisis de tres segmentos de la novela The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (escrita originalmente en inglés) y su traducción al español. La teoría antes mencionada cuenta con seis parámetros: lengua, estrategia narrativa, meta, situación, mecanismo lógico y oposición de guiones. Estos parámetros permitirán localizar el humor en los tres textos.es-ES
