dc.descriptionPaz Errázuriz’s photographic dossier, Kawésqar, hijos de la mujer sol (2006) was undertaken at the request of the subjects themselves, an ethnic group in far southern Chile facing extinction. The images center on the existential weight of the survivors in the milieu of their traditional indigenous lives. Roland Barthes’s concept of the photographic punctum serves to provide the basis for this inquiry into the rhetorical structure of Errázuriz’s images.en-US
dc.descriptionProyecto realizado a petición de los mismos interesados, el dossier fotográfico de Paz Irrázuriz, Kawésqar, hijos de la mujer sol (2006) da cuenta de un grupo étnico del extremo sur chileno en extinción. Las imágenes consolidan el pesar existencial de los sobrevivientes en el medio de su milenaria vida indígena. Al valerse del concepto de Roland Barthes del punctum fotográfico, este ensayo indaga sobre la estructura retórica de las imágenes de Errázuriz.es-ES
