Descripción:	The improvement of precarious housing can be done, on the one hand, through self-construction, which can cause an increase in the negative impacts of housing on the environment, health, or well-being of its inhabitants if it is done without the knowledge or necessary technical support. On the other hand, the implementation of projects through NGOs or government sectors, which are not always aligned with the reality of the context or with the needs and priorities of the user families and their communities. Given this, a methodological framework is defined that integrates the needs of the different actors related to housing, evaluates their situation, and allows a series of decisions to be made on the strategies to be implemented to advance toward the sustainability of precarious housing in a collaborative manner. The Methodological Framework is created to move towards a Basic Ecotechnological Housing (VIVE Framework) with four phases and 10 steps that order the diagnosis, evaluation, design, and implementation, with monitoring and an iterative process that will allow the monitoring and evolution of the houses. This framework allows addressing the complexity of the habitat through participatory tools and trans-disciplinary work. La mejora habitacional de viviendas con precariedad puede hacerse, por un lado, a través de la autoconstrucción, lo cual puede provocar un aumento de los impactos negativos de la vivienda al entorno, salud o bienestar de sus habitantes si se hace sin los conocimientos o el apoyo técnico necesario. Por otro, con la implementación de proyectos a través de ONG o sectores gubernamentales, que no siempre se alinean a la realidad del contexto o a las necesidades y prioridades de las familias usuarias y sus comunidades. Ante esto, se define un marco metodológico que integre las necesidades de los distintos actores relacionados con las viviendas, evalúe su situación y permita tomar una serie de decisiones sobre las estrategias a implementar para avanzar hacia la sostenibilidad de las viviendas precarias de forma colaborativa. Se crea el Marco Metodológico para transitar hacia una Vivienda Ecotecnológica Básica (Marco vive) con cuatro fases y 10 pasos que ordenan el diagnóstico, evaluación, diseño e implementación, con un monitoreo y un proceso iterativo que permitirá el seguimiento y evolución de las viviendas. Este marco permite abordar la complejidad del hábitat a través de herramientas participativas y trabajo transdisciplinario.
