DescripciΓ³n: Based on the study of the configuration of male genitalia, two species of the genus π‘ƒβ„Žπ‘œπ‘‘π‘–π‘›π‘’π‘  Laporte, 1833 lacking basidorsal excrescences, are described: 𝑃. π‘“π‘Žπ‘£π‘–π‘™π‘Žπ‘– sp. nov. the second firefly species recorded for the state of Zacatecas and is compared with the morphology of 𝑃. π‘™π‘’π‘€π‘–π‘ π‘Žπ‘’ Zaragoza-Caballero y LΓ³pez-PΓ©rez, 2023;  𝑃. π‘‘π‘–π‘™π‘Žπ‘’Β sp. nov. from the state of Jalisco and Oaxaca; its relationshipwith 𝑃. π‘“π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’π‘  Zaragoza-Caballero, 2000 and 𝑃. π‘—π‘’π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘§π‘Žπ‘’Β Zaragoza-Caballero, 1996 is discussed. Additionally, a distribution map ispresented.
A partir del estudio de la configuraciΓ³n del edeago, se describen dos especies del gΓ©nero π‘ƒβ„Žπ‘œπ‘‘π‘–π‘›π‘’π‘  Laporte, 1833 que carecen de excrecencias dorsobasales: 𝑃. π‘“π‘Žπ‘£π‘–π‘™π‘Žπ‘– sp. nov. segunda especie de luciΓ©rnaga registrada para el estado de Zacatecas y se compara con la morfologΓ­a de 𝑃. π‘™π‘’π‘€π‘–π‘ π‘Žπ‘’ Zaragoza-Caballero y LΓ³pez-PΓ©rez, 2023;  𝑃. π‘‘π‘–π‘™π‘Žπ‘’Β sp. nov. procedente de los estados de Jalisco y Oaxaca; se comenta su relaciΓ³n con 𝑃. π‘“π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’π‘  Β Zaragoza-Caballero, 2000 y 𝑃. π‘—π‘’π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘§π‘Žπ‘’ Β Zaragoza-Caballero, 1996.
