Abstract: | new structures for the conversion of electrical energy. This topic increases its importance due to the development of semiconductor devices and the great growth in the consumer market, looking, in most applications, for the optimization of the energy resources. In the case of inverters (dc/ac), they are devices that allow to transform voltage from cd to ac, and are widely used to inject current into the grid from electrical energy produced by nonconventional renewable energies. To activate the inverter devices, it is necessary to use a modulation scheme. According to pulse width modulation schemes, the space vector pulse width modulation is one of the most efficient due to its characteristics in the use of dc voltage, reduction of losses by switching and reduction of harmonic total distortion. However, the conventional space vector pulse width modulation technique presents disadvantages; some of which are treated in this work. This thesis presents a modification to the space vector pulse width modulation technique that is immune to low order harmonics, this is considered a test using rectifier as a non-linear load, caused by non-linear load, this in order to inject the low-order harmonics and also uses a single reference voltage signal, therefore, a single voltage sensor at the point of common coupling of the system. The modification consists of using a modified adaptive notch filter algorithm in order to obtain quadrature components, from a single input signal. The adaptive notch filter substitutes the stage of the Clarke transform that uses the conventional space vector pulse width modulation technique to obtain these quadrature components. Experimental results are shown using a laboratory prototype with the proposed modified space vector pulse width modulation technique, these results are compared with the implementation of the conventional space vector pulse width modulation technique. |
