Descripción:	Actualmente la educación ha sufrido el impacto en su modalidad presencial con la creación de nuevos escenarios virtuales apoyados en tecnologías y la forma de realizar las actividades ha cambiado en los últimos años. Para adaptarse a las necesidades actuales, las instituciones de educación deben flexibilizarse y desarrollar vías de integración de tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC’s) en procesos de formación, adquisición de conocimientos y desarrollo de habilidades en el ámbito de educación. Dentro de las herramientas se encuentra todo aparato que tenga internet y al mismo tiempo proporcione información disponible en cualquier parte y hora, facilitando la comunicación. Las aplicaciones deben garantizar la calidad en las prácticas docentes que realiza el profesor. El objetivo del estudio fue conocer el uso de las TIC’s en la aplicación de actividades y el desarrollo de habilidades en alumnos de la Competencia de Manejo de la Salud y Bienestar Animal I de Medicina Veterinaria. Los datos obtenidos demuestran que el 100% de los alumnos utiliza herramientas tecnológicas con internet para realizar sus actividades en línea, tareas, prácticas y proyecto integrador. Sin embargo, existen ocasiones en que no pueden ingresar por falta conexión a internet. Un 2% menciona que no tener internet dificulta el aprendizaje. El uso de las TIC’S y su aplicación ayudo al desarrollo de habilidades, rendimiento y aumento el autoaprendizaje en los alumnos inscritos en la materia. El uso de tecnología garantiza el trabajo interactivo entre equipos de trabajo y al mismo tiempo como medio de comunicación. Las plataformas también utilizan de herramientas de aprendizaje como medio de apoyo y repositorio de actividades. Existen desventajas como no tener tiempo suficiente, no contar con internet o datos, por lo que los profesores deben ser flexibles y bridar ayuda, solucionar problemas y buscar alternativas que no interfieran en el rendimiento académico. The educational process has experienced impact in its face-to-face modality with the creation of new virtual scenarios supported by technologies and the way of conducting activities has changed. To adapt to current needs, educational institutions must become more flexible and develop ways to integrate information and communication technologies (ITs) in training processes, knowledge acquisition and skill development in the field of education. Within the tools is any device that has internet and at the same time provides information available anywhere and at any time, facilitating communication. The applications must guarantee the quality of the teaching practices carried out by the teacher. The objective of the study was to know the use of ITs in the application of activities and the development of skills in students of the Animal Health and Welfare Management Competition I of Veterinary Medicine. The data obtained show that 100% of the students use technological tools with the Internet to carry out their online activities, homework, practices and integrating projects. However, there are times when they cannot enter due to lack of internet connection. 2% mention that not having the internet makes learning difficult. The use of ITs and their application helped the development of skills, performance and increased self-learning in students enrolled in the subject. The use of technology guarantees interactive work between work teams and at the same time as a means of communication. The platforms also use learning tools as a means of support and a repository of activities. There are disadvantages such as not having enough time, not having internet or data, so teachers must be flexible and provide help, solve problems and look for alternatives that do not interfere with academic performance.
