Descripción:	Forestonic engineering through a new concept in agricultural, forestry and mechatronic sciences was defined. Definimos la ingeniería Forestrónica a través de un concepto nuevo en las ciencias agrícolas, forestales y mecatrónica. La ingeniería Forestrónica incluye el uso de las telecomunicaciones, los servicios informáticos, la mecánica y la electrónica, aplicados en conjunto a la silvicultura y la industria forestal, desde los bosques su reforestación y aprovechamiento, tanto en el manejo forestal, de producción y de recursos forestales, fabricación de muebles como la logística. Algunos ejemplos concretos de la amplia utilidad de la Forestrónica son: control automatizado de viveros forestales, geoposicionamiento satelital para la silvicultura para el manejo forestal, registro automático de inventarios forestales con mapeo de rendimientos maderables y procesamiento de imágenes satelitales y de VANT’s.
